A Blossom's Story
Välkommen till A Blossom in a Cake.
Welcome to my world. I'm a home baker based in Linköping, Sweden. A lovely town that wears its prettiest dress in Spring time, where every tree, bush, shrub, and grass put on their loveliest and most fancy gowns. What you see first in Spring and is my absolute favorite are blossoms. Be it Apples, pears, or cherry blossoms. I love them most because they loudly announce that "Spring is Here".
As Blossoms represent everything beautiful as I view our Cakery. Blossoms represent Spring, Beauty, Evolving of things, Delicacy, and mostly they mean New Beginnings. Blossoms spread beauty however you look at them from their first bloom till their last sway with the wind.
To me Cakes do the same. They're pretty, yummy, sweet, they gather people together, and they often mean a "Happy Occasion". With cakes, one celebrates Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, the coming of a new loved baby, and Life & Work successes (Milestones), just to name a few.
My aim is to convey all of such beautiful feelings into your Cakes to be the Cherry on Top of your Cherished and memorable celebrations.
Very Important to Read before You Order
Kindly read this thoroughly as it states everything you need to know before you order a cake from us. It also has all the information you need to provide.
Our Kitchen is NOT an Allergen-Free facility. If You have any allergies please specify at the related question and the degree of allergy.
We Do Not provide cake Deliveries. All cakes must be Picked Up On the agreed time at the agreed place.
All payments must be through "Swish" to the Bakery's phone number.
A 50% Deposit has to be Given to Confirm Booking (there would be No booking without deposit. )
The Remaining 50% of the Cakes' price to be on collection.
Orders for Wedding Cakes should be placed at least a Month in advance and other types of cakes 2 Weeks in advance.
Please provide photos for every specification of the cake (for example colors and inspirational elements) in order to make the cake the as close to the design you have in mind.
No cake would be 100% duplicated as the picture provided. It would only be as close as possible to the requested design.
We Reserve the Right to Amend the cake (in design and/ or the cake itself) for any technical reason after consulting with the client.
We Reserve the Right to Accept or Refuse making a cake or adding a detail to what we Deem Fit.
In Case of Event Cancellation or Change of Date Please do Inform us a head of time. If any changes should happen on the event's day or the day before the full price should be paid.
We are NOT Responsible for any Cakes/ Desserts Once they are collected. You will be Given full Instructions on how to Handle/ Cut/ and Transport the goods.
2 & More Tier-cakes Will contain Dowels (sticks) inside of them for stability. Also certain designs require inserting Non-Edible items (such as figurines and flowers). You Will be Informed.
All Cakes/ Desserts from our Cakery are made with High Quality Ingredients.

Cake Orders made 7 days before due date may be subject to rush order fees.
We’ll do our best to accommodate any changes that are made 7 days before the order due date. Please note - extra charges may apply to last-minute changes.

Please help me create YOUR cake/ Dessert exactly to your liking. We all have specifications to everything we like and dislike. Therefore, I strongly aim to create your dessert to how you like it specifically in every little detail.
How SWEET is your tooth? Do you like overly sweet things? Not too sweet?? Would you like to balance sweetness with cakes, fillings, frostings?
Do you prefer your cakes more spongy, tender, or firm (like Mud cakes)?
How Chocolaty do you like your cakes, fillings, frostings/ desserts to be? (Dark, Milk, or White chocolate, Semi Sweet Chocolate maybe or a mix of 2 or more)??
Do you prefer the Buttery flavor or the Creamy flavor in frostings and fillings even cakes?
How do you like the balance between Cake to filling in your cakes? Or a thicker/ lighter layer of frosting (cake cover)??
Do you prefer crunchy additions to your cake?
Do you dislike any flavors, textures, side notes (e.g. coffee, salt, vanilla, spices)??
What's your Most Favorite cake/ dessert like?? Help me make it ;).
If ordering a Cheesecake, how thick do you like crust to be? How tall? (covering half of the cheesecake layer more, less).
With Chocolate chip Cookies do you prefer your cookies to be Crunchy and Dry or Soft and Chewy?? Loaded with chocolate chips or light.
Let's talk Brownies. Fudgy, Chewy, or Cakey is your favorite?? With or without nuts, chocolate chips?
Cupcakes!! Filled or not???
